బుద్ధి పై పొర తీయరా భువనేశ్వరా! బుద్ధి పై పొర తీయరా

శుద్ధ మగు నీ సత్స్వరూపము చూచి చూచి కృతార్థులగుదుము

శ్రద్ధతో నీ సేవ లోనరిచి శాశ్వతానందమ్ము గాంతుము

భక్తిభిక్షము బెట్టరా - ప్రాణేశ్వరా ! భక్తిభిక్షము బెట్టరా,

శక్తి మీరగ బాపచయముల - జక్కగా చెండాడి వైతుము

రక్తి తో మా హృత్పురంబు ను - రాజధానిగనీకు నిత్తుము

దయను మా పై గురియరా - దయాకరా! దయను మా పై గురియరా

దయను మా పై నీవు గురిసిన దాపములు చల్లారి పోవును

రయముగా హ్రుత్ క్షేత్రముల  సద్రమ్య గుణముల పంట పండును

This is a one of my favorite lyrical bhajans with the beautiful sounds of Telugu poetry.
 It is a supplication to the Deity  for removing the veil of ignorance from the Mind. Then the devotee might 'see'  the pure, extant form of the Divine and thus achieve the purpose of one's existence. Serving the Divine the Devotee will achieve Eternal Bliss.
The devotee begs for the alms of  'Bhakti' ( Devotion ) through which he can overcome the tendencies of evil and sin. Then the heart thus cleansed by the power of devotion  is worthy of becoming an offering to the Supreme who will alone rule it. The devotee seeks the mercy of God to rain upon mankind so our troubles be calmed and in the fields of our hearts virtues may flourish.
